William Curtis Ham, 76, of Catoosa, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
He was born August 19th, 1944 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Daniel Berry Ham and Hester May Ham. He was raised in Verdigris and went to school in Claremore. He was the youngest of 10 children. Curt loved going to town once a week where he and his brothers would get to go to the movies and have popcorn for twenty-five cents.
Curt served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a Heavy Vehicle Driver. He was honorably discharged in September 1968. He used his GI bill to enroll in Oklahoma State Tech where he earned his associates degree and worked with Commercial Refrigeration, Heating and Air business in 1993 and he continued to work until his retirement.
Curt loved to fish, play games with his family and enjoyed peaceful country living.
Curt was preceded in death by his parents, all his brothers: Frank, Millard, Daniel, and Leroy as well as all his sisters: Minnie, Lillie, Rosie, Viola, and Betty. He is survived by his son, Bradley Ham and wife Melinda, daughter, Shelly Saunnkeah and husband Justin, and his son Wesley Ham. Curt had three grandchildren, Jessica Gougler, Jake Ham and Jennifer Potter and four great-grandchildren, Colton, Gunner, Grayson and Remington.
