Timothy Edward Francis was born on November 28, 1966 to Gene and Mary Ellen Francis. He left this world on January 14, 2020. He married Cindy Swope on October 28, 1999 and they had a wonderful 21 years together.
Tim loved to tell his story of surviving 18 days in ICU, how God spared his life. He was given 8 more months to share with his wife and family before God called him home. He enjoyed his ministry of playing bass for Memorial Heights Baptist Church as well as playing in a local bluegrass band, Heartland Express.
Tim was a mechanic for American Airlines and served there for 24 years.
Tim was a loving husband and uncle. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Tim is survived by his wife Cindy, of the family home, two brothers, Doug and Brad, and their families of Claremore. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law of Pueblo, Colorado, sister-in-law Becky, brothers-in-law Wayne and Wade and their families of Colorado. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
There will be a viewing Thursday, January 21 from 6 to 8pm.
Services to celebrate Tim’s life will be Friday, January 22 at First Baptist Church in Claremore at 2pm.
Graveside service will follow.
