Shirley Rae Sellers, age 67 passed from this life with her loving family by her side, Friday, November 27th, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shirley was born May 25, 1953, to Ernest and Mable (Adams) Gray in Joplin, Missouri.
When asking Ken about their love story, it all started in 1967, in a hallway at Lowell School, and the love has never ended.
On June 5, 1970, in Dennison, Texas, Ken married the love of his life. From their marriage, three daughters were born: Angela, Melinda, and Kimberly. In 1983 they made their home in Claremore Oklahoma.
Shirley was a phenomenal cook. Her family enjoyed everything from home cooked dinners to delicious desserts. She was a devoted and loving wife, momma, and grandma. She enjoyed long car rides as well as looking at all the spring and fall foliage. They watched westerns together until the early morning hours. She had the strongest relationship with God. With a faith like no other, you could always call her, and she would reassure you that God has everything under control.
Family was the most important part of her life. She had a wonderful relationship with her daughters. They loved getting their hair and nails done together. She loved gatherings, cookouts, and holidays together. She was the life of every gathering and brought laughter to every room. She was the most appreciative woman no matter what she was given, and never hesitated to give as well.
Shirley will be dearly missed by the love of her life and devoted husband Kenny; sister Carol "Sue"; her daughters Melinda "Minnie Mouse" and husband Tim Hamilton, Kimberly "Baby Girl" and husband Carl Tibbs: grandchildren Joshua "Joshie" Royal and wife Sammantha. Zachary "Doodlebug" Royal and girlfriend Taci Owens. Kenzie "Sweet Pea" Harris and husband Buddy. Madisen "Short Cake" Hamilton. Taiden "Tay" Hamilton. Matthew "Mattie poo" Tibbs and wife Amanda "Mandy". Derek "Derek Jacob" Tibbs and girlfriend Aurora. Tiffany "Noodle" Tibbs and boyfriend Peter Barth. One great granddaughter Londyn "Lulu" Tibbs.
