Obituary

Serenity Auburn McAdoo, age 18, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rice Funeral Service in Claremore, Oklahoma. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm with Reverend Jerry Book officiating.

Serenity was born July 9, 2004, in Galveston, Texas. She grew up kayaking the Mountain Fork River in Southeast Oklahoma with her family. She played soccer and was a member of the Catoosa High School Wrestling team. Spending time with her friends was her favorite hobby. She was incredibly social and liked to make everyone feel good about themselves, even strangers. She loved to make everyone laugh, including herself. She was a hard worker and enjoyed making her own money, because ultimately Serenity loved shopping. She loved her dog, Brighton. She loved Christmas morning. She was sweet and kind, thoughtful, wild, resilient, and independent. She deeply loved her family and her friends.

Left behind to honor the memory of Serenity is her father, James McAdoo; as well as countless other parental figures, family members, and friends.
