Rose Lee Brasier, age 87, of Claremore, Oklahoma, entered her heavenly home Sunday, July 10, 2022, with her family at her side.
Services will be held, Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00 am at Rice Funeral Service in Claremore, Oklahoma, officiated by Mike Schroeder. In lieu of flowers, Rose has requested that donations be made to Hope Harbor of Claremore.
Rose was born September 27, 1934, in Amarillo, Texas, to her parents Jessie James and Hazel Edna (Shankle) Williams. She was a graduate of the 1956 class of the Hillcrest School of Nursing. On May 18, 1956, she married the love of her life, Joe Raymond Brasier in Springfield, Missouri.
Rose was a member of Blue Starr Church of Christ and Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed travelling and had been to many countries, including England, Wales, France, Greece, Egypt, Mexico and Germany. She had also traveled throughout the United States. She loved reading, her cat, and most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her children, Monty Joe Brasier and Linda Armbrister; daughter-in-law Stephanie Brasier; grandchildren, Josie Cackle, Shelby Cates, Monica Gray, and Joshua Armbrister; great-grandchildren, Christian Armbrister, DeLynn Gray; Cale Cackle, Avett Cackle, Sutton Rose Armbrister, Ruby Armbrister, Ever Cates, and Olive Cates; sisters-in-law Shirley Nickles, Pat Chambers, Jerry Brasier and, Sharon Brasier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, J.J. and Hazel Williams, husband Joe Brasier, sister, Ozelle Landrum; brother James E. Williams, and granddaughter Amber Brasier.
