Rosalie Ray Jones was born July 2, 1942 to Floyd H. Ray and Annalie Peterson. Rosalie passed from this life on September 4th, 2020 at 78 years, 2 months and 4 days of age.
Rosalie graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1961, attended Ozark Christian College, and in July 1962 was married. Rosalie married Tom Jones on July 2, 1962 and to this union four children were born.
She is survived by her husband of their home in Claremore; children: Tom and Shelby Jones of Carthage, TX, Jeff and Jacque Jones of Goddard, KS, Sharalie Jones of Claremore, Karalie Croll of Claremore, five grandchildren: Caston and Ashton Jones, Donald and Jeffrey Pierce and Jasper Jones; one sister: Judy Howard of Fayetteville, TN; one brother: Tommy Ray of Tulsa; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers: John Thomas Yocum, Donald Fred Peterson; one niece: Dawn Marie Peterson; two nephews: Terry Morris and Michael Morris.
Rosalie was a retired RN and a minsiters wife who enjoyed caring for others. Her hobbies were crafting, collecting teddy bears and enjoyed watching westerns or cop shows. She became a Christian as a teenager attending the Town and Country Church in Tulsa and Talala Christian Church. The last four years she had an extended family at Claremore Skilled Nursing and Therapy. Rosalie loved the lord and was ready to go home.
