Ronald "Ronny" Dean Ferrell
Funeral services for Ronald "Ronny" Dean Ferrell will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, 2:00 PM at the Rice Funeral Service in Claremore, Oklahoma with Chad Seagraves officiating. Ronny passed away November 7, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 47.
Ronald Dean Ferrell known to his family and friends as Ronny was born July 30, 1974, in Huntsville, Alabama to Tommy Dean Ferrell & Joann Marie (Walton) Ferrell. He married the love of his life, Sharon Spears, on October 11, 2014.
Ronny proudly served our country as a United States Marine. He loved playing and watching football and he faithfully followed the OU Sooners. Ronny love spending time outdoors, working on cars and motorcycles, playing in the dirt on his tractor, and woodworking. He was a natural with building anything out of wood. Ronny was an animal lover especially horses. Most of all, Ronny loved to be around family and friends and always being the jokester by loudly telling them as he was standing behind the grill.
Ronny was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Tess Spears and numerous aunts and uncles.
Ronny is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Ferrell; son, Tazen Ferrell of Pryor, OK; sisters, Mindy Ferrell (David Boone) of Sallisaw, OK and Rhonda Burch of Centerton, AR; mother, JoAnn Ferrell of Sallisaw, OK; father, Tom Ferrell of Claremore, OK; nieces, Shelby Devers of Sallisaw, OK, Tori Burch of Centerton AR; nephews, Brody Nicholson of Ft. Smith AR, Jace Nicholson of Conway, AR, Rowdee Spears of Claremore, OK. Along with numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, November 12th, 2021, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, at the Rice Funeral Service, 631 E. Will Rogers Blvd., Claremore, Oklahoma.
Family is requesting in lieu of flowers please consider donations be sent to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
