Obituary

Richard Andrew Huls, 69, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021. He was born January 15, 1951 in Tulsa, OK to Edgar Huls and Elizabeth (Germany) Huls. He married Kim Huls on April 21, 1994 in Chelsea, OK who preceded him in death in June, 2012. In his spare time Rick enjoyed dirt track racing with his grandson, working on vehicles, spending time with family and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners. He also enjoyed spending time during happy hour at the Hilltop. Over his working years he was an incredible machinist and even made jewelry from nuts and bolts. He was a loving and devoted father to Damien Collins, Rickie Huls, Elizabeth LeGates, Terry Helms, and Joshua Bradley. He cherished his role as father, grandfather and husband. He was preceded in death by Parents: Edgar and Elizabeth Huls. Wife: Kim Huls. Brother: Jerry Huls. and Sister: Beverly A. Huls Baber. Rick is survived by his brothers: Darrel (Pete) and Jimmy Huls and their wives Paula and Laquita Huls. His kids: Damien Collins, his wife Laura and their three kids: Tyler Richards and his wife Mckinzie, Cassie and Marissa (Booda) Collins. Rickie Huls, her husband Kevin and their daughter Haven (Baby Girl) Ricks. Elizabeth Legates, her husband Clayton and their three kids: Kendall and her husband Sheldon, Dominic (Thumper) and Tara (Tigger) Legates. Rick was also survived by two great grandchildren: Kendon and Legend Coen and one on the way: Hazel Merlene Richards.
