Linn Marie Tomlinson, 58, passed away July 16, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Linn was born in Manhattan, New York, New York, the daughter of Richard and Jacqueline Kellogg.
She attended Hamilton Elementary in Lafayette, Louisiana, and Washington Elementary, Woodland Junior High, and Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Linn was a baton twirler and played flute in the band for Woodland Junior High.
She attended the University of Arkansas for undergraduate studies and became an ardent Razorbacks fan for life. She loved watching and attending their games, especially in the company of her loving and devoted husband and their Razorback friends.
Linn was always strong, confident, positive, outgoing, and friendly. She was a very effervescent and charismatic person who was immediately liked by others. She met each day, and each person with a ready smile, her quick wit, and a loving spirit.
She was loved well by those who knew her, though none more so than her family. Linn will be deeply missed by all, but most of all by those who knew her best, and loved her most, her family and friends, her loved ones.
Linn worked primarily in the mortgage industry, working as a loan closer for Associated Mortgage Corporation. She was very dedicated, professional and caring in her work, helping to improve the lives of her clients over her many years of service. To Linn, her job was more than just a paycheck. She took great pride in her work and made many close friends during her time at AMC. She dearly loved her AMC family.
Linn is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jacqueline Kellogg; and her brothers, Doug Kellogg and Michael Kellogg.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gary Tomlinson; sons, Adam Tomlinson, Eric Tomlinson and wife Bailey; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Sarah and John Hamilton; and grandchildren, Ava and Michael.
