Linda Joan Clemens, 67, stepped into heaven on Feb.26th at her home in Claremore, OK.
Linda was born on February 19th, 1956 in St.Paul, MN to Carl and Miriam Clemens. She was their very first child and they were excited to be parents to their new baby girl. She graduated from Becker High School. In 1997, she received her Nursing Assistant certificate at VoTech in Tulsa, OK. She dedicated many years of her life to taking care of and raising her children.
Linda was a Christian and loved the Lord. She attended Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK for several years. Her favorite scripture was 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” - NKJV 13:13 I Corinthians
She loved to volunteer at Manor Care, a rehabilitation center, in Tulsa, OK. She enjoyed hosting activities for residents to participate in and visiting with residents who needed a friendly person to talk to. She was there so often and worked so well with residents, that they ended up hiring her as an Activities Director.
Linda enjoyed fishing for trout or crappie, painting, taking care of her little dog Bell, making arrangements, crafting, decorating, making holidays special and spending time with her children and grandchildren. It was common to find Linda enjoying the day with her signature cup of coffee and her favorite Coffemate French Vanilla creamer.
She had a caring and compassionate heart. In her own way, she was always giving. She was kind to others. She was a good listener. She was artistic and creative. She enjoyed being a mom. She was quiet and gentle. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
