Joseph A. Woodall, "Andy J. Woodall", "Joseph Anthony Woodall", of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed in the comfort of his home, surround by his loved ones, on April 29, 2023.
Andy was born on September 17, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe Woodall and Marjorie McClendon. He attended Justus Elementary and Claremore High School, where he met lifelong friends Donnie Davie and Mark Dees. he worked 30 years for Burges-Norton and 15 years for Claremore High School.
Caring, funny, adventurous, and dependable are words that described the man Andy was. He was always there for his friends and family when needed, no matter the time of day or night. He loved to travel and making adventures happen, especially trips to Branson. He loved floating rivers, swimming in the creek, enjoying vehicles and experiencing new thing of every kind. His was really shown in making every occasion special. If you were sad, you could count on him to make you laugh and brighten your mood. You couldn't stay in a bad mood around him, as he would have you laughing at some joke before you knew it.
Left behind to honor his memory are his beloved wife, Mildred Bailey-Woodall; brother Syd Woodall and wife Monica; sister Patti Grennan and husband Pat; sisters Gilly Cook and Lisa Ellick; brother Greek Ellick; daughters Andrea Woodall and husband Steve Larrabee, Nicole Legates and husband Fred; Breanna and husband Landon Martin, Katelyn Rudolph and Emily Bailey; adored grandchildren, Kelly Legates, Joey Woodall, Cleo Mooney, Cheyenne Legates, Fred Legates, Jr., Kaylee Larrabee, Kaiser & Aubrey Martin, and Lavanna and Lyle Rudolph.
He is preceded in death by parents Joe Woodall and Marjorie McClendon; grandparents, Irene and Ross Robison and Bill McClendon.
