Obituary

Jack Wayne Coon was born October 09, 1942 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Ralph and Mary Coon.  He married Carolyn Sue Coon June 18, 1960.  Jack enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served until his discharge in 1964.  After discharge he started a job at Automation Industries which was the beginning of his career in aerospace as a machinist and programmer.  He retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1995. 

Jack and Sue have resided in Claremore, Oklahoma where they raised two sons, Micheal Wayne and Bruce Clark.  He has been a member at the Blue Starr Church of Christ since the late 1960’s.  Jack volunteered untold hours at the Church helping to maintain the building and grounds. 

Jack was a handyman that enjoyed every minute of creating, fixing, and maintaining all manner of things. 

The Lord called upon him to come fix some things May 10, 2023.

Jack Wayne Coon is survived by his wife of 63 years Carolyn Sue; son Micheal Coon; son Bruce Coon; daughter-in-law Stephanie Coon; and granddaughter Kristin Coon.
