JB Denny, 91, of Claremore, Oklahoma, died on May 13, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 24, 1932, in Short, Oklahoma, to Harve Denny and Loyce (Keen) Denny. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harve Denny and Loyce (Keen) Denny, and all of his siblings, brothers: Virgil Denny, Euil Denny, Gilbert Denny and George Denny; sisters: Gatsy Hines, Gladys Baker, and Beulah Sheppard; grandson: TW Round; and granddaughter: Tammela Hudspeth.
He worked as a licensed plumber, then became a home builder. He retired at 62 years old. After retirement, he loved to fish, garden, and work his cattle.
He is survived by his wife of almost 74 years, Reita June Denny; his children, Patricia Denny Adams, Mona White, Deborah Green (Wade), Susan Bock (Larry), and Darryl Denny (Shelli); grandchildren: Richard Adams, Shelly Cooper, Melany McNac, Melisa Harrison, Brent Pollard, Jared Green, Blake Green, Krissy Moseley, Jordan Denny and Caleb Denny; many great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
