Harley Roy Parrish Jr., 71 passed away Thursday, May 27th, 2021, in Nowata, Oklahoma. He was born June 15th, 1949, in Nowata, Oklahoma to Harley Ray Parrish Sr. and Alwildia Marie Parrish. Harley was raised in Nowata. He played high school football and graduated high school in Nowata. On July 8th, 1972, he married the love of his life Linda June Michener and they moved to Catoosa where they cherished over 40 years together until her passing in 2012.
He worked for various companies throughout his life; Phillips 66, Yuba Heat, on the accounting team for Amoco, B.P., Price Water House, and I.B.M. In his spare time, he enjoyed bird hunting, crappie fishing, walleye fishing, shooting shotguns, reloading shotgun shells, watching OU football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball, coaching little league baseball, and spending time with friends and family. He loved his family and loved making crappie jigs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded by his parents Harley Sr. and Alwildia Parrish, wife Linda Parrish and grandson Dakota Allen Parrish.
He is survived by his two children Shannon Warehime and husband Steve, son John Parrish and wife Joy, one brother Gary Parrish and wife Patricia, his three sisters Brenda Quitter and husband Richard, Donna Parrish, and Connie Thacker and husband Eddie, four grandchildren Kaitlyn Morgan and husband Trace, Jacob Warehime, Julie Parrish, and Jadyn Parrish and one great granddaughter Everly June Morgan and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
