Glen "Bud" Evans

Glen “Bud” Arnold Evans, age 83, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, joined the heavenly choir on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Services for Bud will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Claremore Assembly of God, with burial to follow at Wofford Cemetery. A visitation will be held, Monday, May 8, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Rice Funeral Service in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Bud was born November 15, 1939, in Catoosa, Oklahoma to Glen Gordon Evans and Minnie Virona (Chambers) Evans. He had many passions in life, but his love for his family and his faith in God are two things he will always be remembered for. He loved to sing and would encourage those around to sing with him. He enjoyed woodworking but was happiest when surrounded by his children and his family.

No matter where Bud went, you could pretty much guarantee that he would run into someone he knew, whether it be from church, his hometown or work.

Left behind to honor the memory of Bud are his four children, Rebecca Nolan (John), Paul Evans (Jodie), Glenda Morris (David) and Brian Evans (Michelle); eleven grandchildren, Heather Pack, Dusty Tuggle, Julie Nolan (Ryan), Jennifer David (Paul), Savannah Kates (Mikhael), Justin Evans, Josh Evans (Emily), Lyndsey Rogers (Josh), Carissa Parks (Deric), Gypsy Evans, and Corri Evans; three great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren, his sister, Bonnie Bennett, and his beloved cat, Sassy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Minnie Evans, and his loving wife, Nancy Ann Evans.
