Carolyn Sue (Nipp) Shouse

Carolyn Sue Nipp-Shouse, a loving and selfless woman who devoted her life to serving others, passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born on March 14, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her patents Jessie and Virginia Nipp.

Carolyn was a woman who put the needs of others before her own, even if they were complete strangers. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many and she will be greatly missed.

Carolyn’s love for God and her family was the cornerstone of her life. She married her husband Levi Shouse and together they raised their children in a home filled with love and warmth. Sadly, Levi and their daughter Virginia (Ginger) preceded her in death along with her sisters Mary and Suvilla Ann Nipp.

Carolyn is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Jessie and Tammy Nipp and their daughters Beverly Beer and Patty Keith. Her daughters Leah Shouse, Lori Potts, and Robin Streetman, and her sons-in-laws Joey Potts and Jason Streetman. She is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses: Misty Snow, Allen and Diane Snow, Ashley Snow, Zachary Potts and Makayla Tarkowski, Joshua and Paige Starr, Korina Potts and Shelby Moore, Destany Flores and Jay Johnson, Colton and Iva Streetman, Devon Streetman, Logan and Elizabeth Potts, Shelbie McKay, and Adrienne and Kayla Streetman. Her great-grandchildren include Nathaniel Byram, Lilliana Takowski-James, Austyn Smith, Lake Potts, Hadley Starr, Penelope Potts, and Vesa Streetman and her niece and nephew, Tracy Auman-Austin and her spouse Chris Austin and Roger Auman.

Carolyn will be remembered for her selflessness, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and God. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to haven known her. 

Memorial for Carolyn Shouse will be held April 8th at 3:00 West Edison Plaza Community Center 570 N. 39th W. Ave Tulsa OK 74127.
