Autrie Lee Brownlee was born to Henry and Mathilda Avery on March 28, 1928, in Vaiden, Mississippi.
Autrie met and married John P. Amos in her younger years. They had five children.
In 1968, she met and married Matthew Brownlee and moved to Claremore, Oklahoma.
Autrie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mathilda; her husband Matthew Brownlee; her children, Gloria Edmonds, Louise Lewis, Ella Boyles; her granddaughters, Chaka Boyles and Trena Rogers; her siblings, Henry Crowder, Adolf Avery, Tommie Lee Avery, Talmadge Avery, Dorothy Jean Brown, Rosezail Wilson, Bernice Porter, Maudie Wilson, and Lucille Brown.
Autrie leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Ella Mae Myers and husband RV Myers of Memphis, Tennessee; two sons, John Henry Amos and wife Yvoone of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Charles Edward Amos and wife Della of Jenks, Oklahoma; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
