May God give you a hand to hold on to in your. Time of need and be with this mother and father and this young wife. Help them dear God to find peace of mind in there heart and try to find some peace in this loss of there son and husband the town of chelesa knows because we loss a few dear man in are home town I wish we could of been there to bring him home but didn't know went. We tryed to fined out so people in chelesa could help line the streets but there was no date or time but believe me a hearts are sad also. God bless your son for the price he paid but most of all bless you for letting him do this for us. God will help you I know he will

I pray that all of Jon's friends and family are, in time, comforted with the knowledge that he, like so many before him and many to follow, gave his life providing freedom for humans on the other side of the world and securing our counrty. Jon is a hero. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Jon, all of us in the military community, past and present, are heartbroken for the the loss of this hero, Jon. With deepest regret I thank Jon and what he stood for. I also thank his family and friends for sharing him with us. His fellow soldiers worldwide will never forget him nor the price he was asked to pay for all of our freedoms.

I remember Jon when he was a toddler, and every time I saw him he was always such a happy kid and so smart! He always made me smile. He turned out to be an outstanding young man and, an American Hero. Our thoughts go out to you Katy and to your family in this hard time , may God be with you.

The men and women who freely choose to serve our country are especially important and dear to all of us who have served and are now still guarding the gates of freedom, they are our country’s bravest, our finest, our best.
It is always difficult, especially at times like this, to understand why a soldier may have to make the ultimate sacrifice while serving to protect his or her country. But at this time, more than at any other time, we turn our thoughts and prayers to God and ask him to take our loved ones into his arms and protect them for all of eternity for only he knows the meaning behind the loss of each of our loved ones.
In great respect and deep admiration for Jon’s love of his country, family, and community and for his selfless sacrifice we are and always will be there for you. We are so deeply saddened by loss of one of our own who had so much more to give the world. He is and always will be an inspiration to all of us who have answered our nations call to defend her and our very freedoms and liberties.
Giving one's life for your country is the highest act of valor and patriotism possible. Your son is a true patriot! His bravery and valor are evident. He died protecting his brothers and sisters in arms and defending freedom for the country he loved so dearly.
